This course was developed to give everyone consistent training in the ‘how tos’ of what is traditionally thought of as ‘networking’ but it goes beyond that to essential soft skills, including better interpersonal skills and heightened social perception. The Power of Positive Networking® teaches employees how to build more empathetic, more bonded relationships inside the organization and with their important external networks - clients, customers, and new connections.
The world has changed and more people are working remotely, either some or all of the time. But they still need to feel connected to their team and engage with clients and customers. This course offers useful Hybrid Networking™ tips to address that challenge and combat the isolation factor that remote workers face.
The course also addresses one of the biggest challenges—conversation. Participants discover how to overcome their dread of small talk, to converse with those more senior, and engage more effectively with clients and customers. Participants learn how to answer the question, “So what do you do?” without it sounding like a sales pitch.
Special focus is given to increasing the confidence of introverts by providing them with techniques to network and connect with more ease.
Even experienced networkers will benefit from this course by learning how to refresh and recharge their network and use new apps and tools to connect virtually. They’ll assess their operational and strategic networks, identify the gaps and set a plan to strengthen them.

This online course is approximately five hours of learning. We've broken it up into bite-size pieces so it can be done at each participant’s own pace. You can set your own timetable for the course completion date. Short engaging videos, quizzes and workbook exercises with action steps keep participants moving forward.
